David Medina is a Senior Pprtrait Artist based out of Puerto Rico specializing in Seniors and Lifestyle portraiture. He has been shooting professionally for more than twenty-five years with experience in fashion, photojournalism and commercial photography as well as weddings and portraits.
He uses all of his experiences and love for the arts and music to create unique portraits that shows the beauty of each person.
He studied advertising photography at Portfolio Center for Advertising Photography in Atlanta, Georgia and has continue to explore photography as a craft and as an art. He lectures in photography, Digital processes and creativity.
In 2000 he welcomed the transition to digital because it gave him greater creative control using the computer as a creative tool to enhance and extend the vision that began at the moment the image was capture. Instead of thinking of them as two separate processes, he sees them as not only complimentary processes, but a continuous one. While some photographers shy away from graphic design, David believe is an intrinsical part of the new era of Digital Photography. After all, photography and Graphic design share many common elements of visual design.
