Himara & Marco: A twist of fate brought them together

Hirama is from Puerto Rico and Marco lived in the U.S. but was originally from Peru. What are the chances that they would meet ? Well, a twist of fate would bring them together. They both wanted to study medicine. There are many fine schools in the U.S. as well as in Puerto Rico, but they chose to studyl at the Dominican Republic. Little did they know that this decision that had nothing to do with marriage or romance would bring them together.

They met and started going out. But after a year Hirama went to the states to do her internship while Marco came to Puerto Rico to do some studies here. Then, once again, they will be brought together. We had fun exploring Old San Juan for new and unusual places to shoot. Here are some of my favorite images and a slide show from their Love Story shoot.

New Site!!! Coming Soon!

Our current website is overdue for an overhaul so we are working on a new site that will include a new way to shop your images, pay our services and other neat things. One of the things we want to do is setup our online store in a way that provide you with more products, easier to use, that is in spanish as well as in english and that will allow us to provide you with better prices and service by eliminating extra processes and any middle man.

While Pictage is an excellent service and we have a great relationship with them, due to its high cost it has increased our costs and we don’t want to have to transfer the cost to you. So we have looked for alternatives during the past few month, tried different one, and we have found one that we are really conformable with. While it is already operational in its “beta” phase and some of you will get to try it out soon, we won’t unveil it officially until early 2008.

Another service we are working on is that we want to provide you with a “wedding website” where you can use it to post everything about your wedding. For our couples it will be free with our Signature Package, but it will be available for a reasonable fee to any couple, even those who choose other photographers. So, stay tune, because early 2008 we will be unveiling our new, improved site and new services.

Carmen & Javier Love Story

Carmen is a school teacher in Puerto Rico. One day one of her student keep insisting that she should meet her uncle. Carmen saw it as cute but would not accept her student invitation. The student decided to take matters on her own hand and invited Carmen to her Quinceañero. Unknown to Carmen the stage was set for her to meet who would become the man of her dreams. There she met Javier.Later on Carmen’s student invited Carmen for a Christmas party. Little did she know that she was being set up on a blind date. A double blind date because Javier was invited too but did not know that he was set up as well.

Carmen and Javier met again but this time a sparked lit up between them that turned into a wedding proposal.

Here are some of my favorite images from their engagement session. It was done in Old San Juan and at the beach. Here is also a slide show.

Lydia & Chris: A Love Story

If you wonder if what you see in movies can happen in real life… You got to meet Lydia and Chris.

They both work for TV news outfits in the Central Florida area and met while working on a story. She says that Chris would invite her to drink coffee but while she never said no, it took a year for her to accept his invitation. Funny thing is that Chris does not drink coffee.

Time went by and they both realized they could not stand been apart from each other. In Christmas 2006 Chris took Lydia to Disney MGM Studios in Orlando for “just a fun day”. Chris keep disappearing to the bathroom so he could practice how to pop the question in Spanish.

After the MGM light show, amid Christmas lights, music and snow falling, Chris dropped on one knee and popped the question… in perfect Spanish.

Yes, just like in the movies! .Here are some of my fav shots and a slide show from their Love Story Shoot.
