In Memory of Maria Sue Chapman

It is with great sadness that I have to share with you the death of Steven and mary Beth Chapman five years old daughter, Maria Sue Chapman. She died on a tragic accident on the Chapman’s family driveway.

She just turned 5 years just 10 days ago. Mary Sue was one of the three children that the Chapman family have adopted from China. Steven Curtis Chapman, one of the most know and respected Christian music artist, and his wife Mary Beth, founded Shaohannah’s Hope to mobilize the body of Christ to care for orphans.

Throughout the years Steven has brought hope and shared his love through his music to many families that have lost children. Now is our turn to bring hope and share our love and prayers with this family.

I just wanted to share this sad news with you because they are a family that is very close to our family’s heart. Here is a small video of Marua Sue.

As Seen in the Web

Recently the Wedding Planning site, bodaclickpr.com published couple of articles about David Medina Photography. They also talked about the seminars I did for one of the local photographers association.

I am the one sitting with blue shirt while the president of Professional Photographers of Puerto Rico, Ignacio Gar, introduces me and the workshop.

Shawna & Joseph

Shawna and Joseph dream of a beach wedding. They chose the Ritz-Carlton San Juan where Joseph’s sister, Jodi and John got married last year. So, last friday they tied the knot but unfortunately, it rained a lot so they had to change venue. So, yesterday early in the morning, we decided to head  to the beach for a second chance at getting some of Puerto Rico beautiful beaches as a background for this wonderful couple. It was a wonderful and beautiful day, a perfect day to capture love and passion. Here are some of my favorite shots from their post-wedding shoot, sort of trash the dress shoot.
