Solymar & Jacob Part Deux

 I have been experimenting with the use of a video light in place of the traditional flash and Solymar and Jacob volunteer to be my guinea pigs. So tonight we headed toward El Condado area of San Juan to do some night shooting. I must say I love the result. The quality of light is incredible. I was so excited about it that I could not wait to share with you some of the shots from tonight. So here they are…

Jeremy Camp in Puerto Rico

For the very first time, Jeremy Camp came to Puerto Rico for a one night concert. I have followed his career through the years and have played hime hundreds of times on my radio show, but never had the opportunity to watch him perform live. Well, I finally got to do it!

I can only say this guy rocks! I mean, truly rocks! His live performance are at least as good or even better than his albums. He has an incredible way with the audience. I guess, it comes from being totally honest and transparent. He is the real deal. He goes beyond being a great entertainer, he is a true worshiper.

He lost his first wife to cancer only months after getting married. That was real tough on him and taught him what it means to walk by faith day by day. He discover that in our worst times God is always by our side.

He did give the best of himself. After officially finishing the concert, he came out again to do the usual extra song, but instead of one, did about seven more, all worship songs.  

I will post some more shots later but here is at least one (it is 3 am and I want to go to bed, but I had to share this with you guys, It was an incredible night, incredible music and some very awesome images.

Kio’s Birthday Photo Shoot

Lady in a Box

This weekend a was doing some band photos for a new and upcoming band called Lady in a Box. They have a unique sound and will be opening for Jeremy Camp first concert in Puerto Rico, August 23rd. Here are some of my favorite shots.

A great honor!

I have been given the great honor and opportunity to teach a course on Adobe Lightroom at my alma matter, University of Puerto Rico. I am very excited about this because it has been a dream of mine to be able to teach there. The class is from October 9-30, 2008.
