Melissa’s Senior Shoot Video, Extended Version

I just finished putting together the extended version video of Melissa’s Senior Shoot. It took place earlier in December at El Condado, Puerto Rico.

Susy’s Photo Shoot

This is a wonderful 15 years old teen from Colombia. We spent sometime at the beach as well as Old San Juan. Too bad the sun set early that day because we were just getting started. Here are some of my favorite shots as well as a short video set to Krystal Meyers’s “Beautiful Tonight”. Enjoy and feel free to leave a comment.

Getting Ready for Seniors 2009

We will be launching a new site and new blog dedicated entirely to Teens & Seniors, but we wanted to give you a peak into what we are working on…

Kio Part Deux

Yesterday I got to work again with Kio. She is a wonderful and warm teen and it shows on her pictures.

Hen I go to Old San Juan I usually don’t go with a specific plan. I rather allow myself be taken by the place and keep an eye open constantly for new and exciting photo ops. That way I keep my images with a fresh look all the time. And because Old San Juan is so special, it does not take long to find a perfect spot.

So, with this wonderful and beautiful teen we began at one of my favorite spots, “El Cuartel de Ballajá”. Then moved to the outside and to La Plaza Juan Ponce De León, next to one of the oldest churches in the Americas. Next we went looking for some graffiti on the streets by the Art Museum of San Juan. To our shock the municipality has painted over the graffiti. That is a shame because it gave  a very urban look and it was part of the street environment. But, as you will see, we found something better, an old hippy style VW van. If I would have gone with a predetermined plan I would have missed some very exciting places.

After I got home I could not wait to work in some of my favorite shots of the day. And they were plenty. I had a hard time choosing, but here are some of my favorites…

Andrea’s Senior Shoot

I got the chance to hang out with this wonderful teenager at Old San Juan for some great lifestyle shots. Andrea is a beautiful girl from Colombia, now resides in Puerto Rico where she is attending college. Here are some of my favorite images from that session.
