Gina & Rafael @ Gainesville, Florida – Day 1

Rafael & Gina met wile attending University of Florida at Gainesville. So, it was very natural for them to want to capture their Love Story in the same place it took place. So my wife and I flew to Orlando and from here drove up to Gainesville where we met with Gina & Rafael.

On the first day we drove over for some sunset shots at Lake Alice. The lake is beautiful but filled with, what else, gators! Really, real ones.

Later on, after having dinner at Chipotle, we drove down to downtown Gainesville to visit college hang outs. The first one was the #1 college establishment in the nation: The Swamp. It gets its name from the legendary Florida field.

Afterwards we went to the very spot were Gina & Rafael met one night when Rafael came to the rescue of Gina. As soon as they saw each other the hit it off.

We then roamed the streets of Gainesville looking for chic places like Ti Amo Restaurant.

From Ti Amo we walked across the street to Dragonfly, one of their favorite spots to eat sushi.

One of my favorite finds was the Gainesville Daily News, which made me feel like I was in a Superman movie.

We ended the night there and got ready for day 2 of shooting. But more of that later.
