What do you see when you look at a Photo? What story does it tells? Can you get to know the people in it by what you see?
This is an image from a recent wedding. While the bride was getting ready at her room at El San Juan Hotel & Casino, her mom looked at her with such a pride and love that I had to snatch a shot. That’s one of the reason I love weddings. So much drama, so much emotion. Yes, there are beautiful dresses, venues and ceremonies, but to me the most important thing is the emotions and relationships. And that is what this image tells me about the mother of the bride as she looks at her all grown up little girl.
I imagine that every mom dreams about the day her daughter gets married. I know my wife does. Since the day our daughters were born my wife has been praying for the man that will marry her.
So, when you look at the image below, do you see that? do you see how this mother is thinking, feeling? Do you? Well, that is the power of an image.
