On May 17th, 2007 singer-writer Matthew West underwent career threatening vocal surgery. In the time that followed, he faced a season of silence and uncertainty.

Angie Rosadio - Wow David! Very powerful stuff. I don’t believe I’ve ever heart this song but I will run home and download it tonight because this is how I’ve been feeling lately. I’ve been going through the motions at work and I’ve finally realized there has to be more than just working to pay my bills. Dennis found his passion so why can’t I? Thanks for the inspiration. In the past few weeks I feel like something is trying to push me over the ledge into the unknown future that awaits me. Maybe it’s time I take that leap.
