Old San Juan

As I have said before, I love Old San Juan. I love to walk down its streets and wonder if only those walls could speak what tales would tell! After all, over five hundreds years of history have left its deep mark over the city.

Recently I was with my kids at El Castillo San Felipe o el Morro, as it is most commonly known, an I took this image from it dramatic view from one of its walls. As I stood there I though how many spanish soldiers would have stood at exactly the same spot. I tried to imagine what they would have seen when Sir Francis Drake attacked the city or maybe some day dreamed of been back in Spain with their families.

Anyway, I had this shots for a while now and decided to work on it. Hope you can also daydream looking at it.
