Storytellers

Since my childhood what attracted me most about the photographs I saw in magazines like National Geographic was the incredible power that one photograph had to tell a story.

It amazed me how Photographers like Eugene W. Smith could expertly create images from mundane events and tell a lot about those people in the photograph. By looking, I had an inside and exclusive view of how those people lived, about their dreams and dissapoinments, about their lives.

I was at awe at how he saw what no one else that were at the same place could not see. At the way he “felt” the light and use it set the mood, and to move our emotions.

Yes, sir, that is the day I felt in love with photography. I was totally hooked by it’s power to capture reality and beauty.

And that is what I try to do when I capture a wedding. I am there to document and tell a story. A unique a story as the people in them. I am capturing a piece of real life, a developing story. Attitudes, feelings, relationships, pride, love, joy, people. And I want tondo it the same way Photographers like Smith did it. Expertly feeling the light and telling the full story one image at a time.

My goal is that 10, 15, 20 years from now, when you open you wedding album is more than a collection of beautiful images but your story, a beautiful story that youbwill proudly share with you kids and grand kids as tears flow as you once again live your wedding day.

Yes, I am a wedding photographer, I am a story teller.
